Our office exam charge is $60 for any visit involving a medical concern. Our office exam with vaccines is $45. the office visit/exam includes a full physical examination of your pet performed by a veterinarian.
Can you do xrays and ultrasounds?
Yes we do! We have onsite digital radiography and advanced abdomen ultrasound. Most of the time these diagnostics can be done without sedation, but we sedate if necessary for an anxious or nervous patient.
Will you trim my dogs’ nails for me?
Yes, we do perform nail trims. The pet must be current on his/her rabies vaccine and have a physical exam by a SVH doctor in the past year. The cost for a nail trim is $15-25 depending if you want the nails trimmed or dremeled down.

Sometimes sedation is recommended for the anxious or nervous pet.

This is a loaded question! We could give you a range but every patient has a different schedule. And every client has different needs and wishes. We would encourage you to call, text or email SVH and give the required information about your pet to get a quote on vaccinations. Our goal is to have every pet vaccinated and protected.

What to Expect on Your First Visit

Step 1

After filling out the online new client and patient forms and scheduling the appointment for your family friend, you will arrive at SVH at your scheduled appointment time and be warmly greeted by a staff member.

Step 2

The receptionist will take your fluffy friends’ weight and move you to an exam room where a veterinary technician will take a history and define the reason for your visit. A veterinarian will arrive and ask more questions, listen to your story and perform a thorough exam of your pet. Once all the exams and diagnostics have been implemented, the veterinarian will present you with a recommended treatment plan or vaccination list with options to make the best medical decision for your four legged family member.

Step 4

Whether the answer is surgery, medications or vaccinations, our veterinary team will then setup surgery, fill prescriptions, or give vaccines as needed and approved by you. Your technician will the go over any discharge instructions and explain how and when to give the medications.
